Event Host: Build Canada Homes

Date and Time: Saturday, October 17, 2026 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Location: Alliance Park

Fall Fling is coming to Wateridge Village!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17 from 1–3 PM and join us at Alliance Park for an afternoon of fall fun.

Bring the family and enjoy seasonal treats, music, activities, and of course, a chance to pick up a pumpkin!

Pumpkins are limited to one per household and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

We hope to see you there!

La Fête des feuilles s’installe au Village des Riverains!

Notez bien la date dans vos agendas : samedi 17 octobre, de 13 h à 15 h. Joignez-vous à nous au Parc de l’Alliance pour un après-midi de divertissement automnal.

Venez en famille pour profiter des délices de saison, de la musique, des activités et, bien sûr, pour choisir votre citrouille!

La distribution des citrouilles est limitée à une par foyer et se fera selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi, jusqu’à épuisement des stocks.

Here are just some of the ways we have helped out in our community (so far)

Ensuring Accessibility

Through neighbourhood accessibility walks, the Wateridge Villlage Community Assocication Planning and Development Committee has been able to provide feedback to ensure the neighbourhood can be navigated for all.

Developing Commercial Space

Former CFB Rockcliffe Community Design Plan as well as the Wateridge Village Secondary plan were developed through an extensive community consultation process. This process resulted in a plan for walk-able 15 minute community.

Eugène Martineau Park Parking

The community association raised the issue that the initially planned 4 parking spaces were not sufficient for the number of facilities in this park. Today, the park contains 15 regular parking spaces and one accessible parking space.

Improving Public Transit

The community association led an initiative collecting stories, statistics, and letters of support that led to a city council motion (from councilor King) to improve transit in this neighbourhood.

The Wateridge Village Community Association Traffic and Transit team have met with City of Ottawa staff regarding the many concerns we’ve received about speeding in our community and especially on Codd’s Road.
